Human rights

Labour

Novo Nordisk also includes evaluation of our suppliers performance on these issues in our supplier evaluation in 'Responsibility in the supply chain'.
Principle Five the effective abolition of child labour; and	OK As part of Novo Nordisk subscription to the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights we do not engage in child labour. Novo Nordisk also includes evaluation of our suppliers performance on this issue in our supplier evaluation 'Responsibility in the supply chain'. though this precise issue has been a dilemma evaluating at our suppliers.
Principle Six eliminate discrimination in respect of employment and occupation. Environment
Principle Seven Business should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges;	OK In'Meeting the environmental challenge'Novo Nordisk describes the in 2003 approved environmental strategy for Novo Nordisk dealing with the environmental challenges that Novo Nordisk faces. As part of the Environmental strategy Novo Nordisk has put'Climate change on the agenda'.

Principle Nine encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.
